Sujit Bose is a popular social worker and one of the famous political leaders of West Bengal. He became an elected civic body member of AITMC at the early age of 34.
He was first elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly in 2009 by-election and later re-elected in 2011 and 2016 from South Dumdum constituency. In 2018, he became the Minister of Fire and Emergency Services of West Bengal.
He is also the organizer of Sreebhumi Sporting Club Durga Puja, known for record-breaking crowd attraction, and actively contributes to sports and social development.
